LOGO – Alex Head Review

This is a new concept for me. Usually I will just blog as I wish and take care of my sponsors. But this post is a bit of a 2-in-1. Yesterday I saw the newly released appliers from Alterego Body Co. for the LOGO – Alex mesh head and decided to grab them both. Needless to say.. I completely and totally fell in love with both of them. So below I have done my best to write and honest and heartfelt review as well as show case as much as I can that is on offer. Any suggestions or comments are completely welcome if you would like to see more reviews in the future and of what.

Logo Alex - Default HUD - Expressions

The Basics

When first opening the pack, it’s all a lot of confusing. As LOGO has their own line of skins, most of the packs are matching to those, however you may find one that closely matches your skin. Please note, in all of my pictures, I am using the appliers from alterego. So far, there isn’t a whole lot of applier support (that i know of), but skin creators are jumping on board. Pink Fuel will also be releasing their line of appliers in the next week or so.

From the get go I was incredibly impressed with the default HUD and options included in the kit. However, if you use the omega friendly version of the head, the HUD becomes much more limited. You lose access to the hairbases, lipsticks, blushes, brows and noses – some for obvious reasons. You do keep access to lash and eye options, which isn’t too bad. Also included is a standard set of 12 expressions, which you can mix and match. You can set the eyes of one expression and the mouth of another, or click in the middle and you can set the full expression on the picture. It’s a small detail, but one that is incredibly awesome to mix and match new expressions.

The head does come with its own set of ears, eyelashes, eyes, teeth and tongue. They are all in seperate sections so you can remove and add different ones of your choose, as I have done for my pictures. This does help you to create your own individual look, something I’ve often struggled to find when using mesh heads in the past.

Logo Alex - Add Ons HUD - Vamp Teeth

The Add-Ons

As with all meshes, there are addons. Currently, there are two extra expression HUDs as well as a vampire fang tongue and teeth add-on. All of which are worth the cost. The expressions, as with the default set, can be mixed and matched together. There are 12 extra expressions in each pack and 2 different sets of vampire teeth in the vampy add-on.

The Appliers

As with all good mesh heads, appliers are made. LOGO – Alex is omega supported, so any omega friendly head skin can be used on this beauty. Pictured above is the new line from Alterego Body Co. These are in caramel tone, however honey and havana tones are also available.
